I have used AB Flooring Tile & Construction twice. The first time was a for a partial kitchen redo. New floor, new tile back-splash, some granite counter top modification, electrical work, some plumbing, wall modification and painting. They did an outstanding job. Prepped the house so that workers could enter and exit without dirtying to floors, stairway walls leading to the kitchen etc. They didn’t know it, but the first project was actually an audition to a much larger project, entire bathroom redo...
In my opinions, bathrooms are the hardest, they require skills in all areas, planning, staging, heavy demo, carpentry, tile work, granite work, master plumbing, electrical, and an eye for detail.
My home was built in 1900, so no walls are square, the floor is unlevel, and the plumbing was old. With skill, patience, and planning, they turned my dated worn out bathroom into a spa getaway.
The tile-work on both the floor, the shower enclosure, and the granite top on the tub is old-world craftsman detail you just seldom find these days.
They were very thoughtful to my residence as well. Everything was covered, a plastic floor to ceiling barrier cutting off dust from the rest of the house.
The final result is like walking in to another world, an escape to a Greek island (they even set a small smooth stone I brought back from Greece in to the stone floor of the walk-in shower), and a retreat from the day.
